Launch dates for the T-Mobile touch BlackBerry Bold 9900 and touch BlackBerry Curve (Apollo) leaked!
Back at BlackBerry World T-Mobile announced that they would be carrying the new touch BlackBerry Bold 9900, but, they only gave 'later this year' for the time frame as to when. Most rumors have been pointing to a release sometime this summer, however, This is my next has published a T-Mobile 2011 release road map and it looks like not only will the touch BlackBerry Bold 9900 launch on August 19th, but, the yet to be officially announced touch BlackBerry Curve, also known as the Apollo, will launch on August 31st.

BlackBerry PlayBook to run Android Apps Natively In 2nd Half
Rumors that RIM may allow Android apps to run on the BlackBerry PlayBook have been floating around for a few weeks, but, a recent article in BusinessWeek paints a different picture of how the PlayBook will do so. Initially it was thought that RIM would use Dalvik VM as a Java virutal machine, the same VM used in Android. BusinessWeek sources, however, claim that RIM will actually build its own software component to add to the QNX operating system and that it may be available for the BlackBerry PlayBook in the second half of this year.
